Sandisk Service Sucks September 16, 2008

My school purchased a couple of 1GB Sandisk Cruzer Profiles with Fingerprint scan security (flash drives) last year. One of the drives reports that the storage capacity is only 17.9 MB. No problem since it is under warranty. I contacted Sandisk support and explained the problem. We went back and forth for months. I reformatted the drive as per their instructions and everything and still no luck. They will replace it but have stopped selling this model so they will give me another comparable on. Sounds good right. Wrong. I only have the packing slip that clearly shows that my school received a shipment with two of these drives clearly indicated on the slip. Not good enough because they want the original invoice. I was on the phone and explained 3 times that I did not have the invoice and could not get it (lost in the office somewhere). They ran me around again only to email me later after I got off the phone that they needed the proof of purchase. ^**^&%$%$##!!!!! Take my advice. Don’t buy anything Sandisk sells. Their service sucks and they run you around hoping you will eventually give up. Bunch of &&^^&%$%!
